چکیده
Abstract. Cellulose is one of the most abundant molecules on planet that presence in all plant cell walls Napier grass and bamboo. has been extensively used industries like textile, food, composites, pharmaceuticals, due to its outstanding properties. This research project aims obtain a yield cellulose from grass, bamboo Kenaf fiber by manipulating operating condition alkaline treatment. The extracted was then being characterized identify yield, chemical composition, crystallinity applying moisture content, analysis, FTIR X-ray Diffraction. As temperature alkali reaction increases, decreases formation purified after process. content increased fibers were water retted. results validated using which amount hemicellulose lignin decreased as concentration, temperature, time increases treatment peak intensity band for reduces indicate removal these two components. XRD analysis showed declining trend index elevates. treated did not affect crystalline structure retted have higher index.
